President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the necessity of bolstering the anti-aircraft defense in Odessa, frontline, and border cities. He announced this following the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
According to his statements, discussions included work related to the grain corridor and combatting Russian actions threatening navigation. The reduction of capabilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was addressed, as reported by the Commander of the Naval Forces, Alexey Neizhpapa, Chief of Intelligence Kirill Budanov, and Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk.
Particular emphasis was placed on the defense of energy facilities and ports in the Odessa region, reinforcing the regional air defense system, especially in border and frontline cities—reported by the Commander of the Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.
Reports were also presented by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and generals Oleksandr Syrskyi, Oleksandr Tarkovskyi, Andriy Hnatov, Eduard Moskaliov, and Yuriy Sodolyi—addressing the situations in Kupiansk, Avdiivka, and Kherson.
Participants discussed the scaling up of Ukrainian artillery and 155mm caliber ammunition production, as well as supply schedules from partners—reports were presented by the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umierov, and the Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin.
