President Zelensky stated that the Russian army is preparing for a major offensive, and Ukraine must thwart the enemy’s intentions.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that military aid from the United States has already begun to arrive in Ukraine. He made this statement at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
According to Zelensky, the Russian army is preparing for a major offensive, so Ukraine, with the assistance of NATO, must thwart the occupiers’ intentions.
“Some aid has already started to arrive, I won’t go into details about what specifically. Unfortunately, not everything is yet available to fully equip our army and supply the appropriate number of brigades,” he noted.
The Ukrainian leader also remarked that agreements on security guarantees were very helpful when Ukraine was expecting support from the United States, and the countries with which Kyiv had made such agreements helped strengthen Ukrainian air defense.
On April 29, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Kyiv for an unannounced visit.
