President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Ukraine has prospects for a new counteroffensive, but first, it is necessary to stabilize the situation at the front. The Ukrainian leader discussed this in an interview with AFP.
“There are prospects. First of all, it is necessary to stabilize the situation at the front. It is not stable, as you can see. Now it’s their turn. We need to stop them. We will stop them, and then we need to have appropriately equipped brigades to consider the next steps, counteroffensive, and so on,” said Zelensky.
When asked if there will be a Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2025, the president stated that he knows when it will be but cannot disclose it.
