Russian occupants fired 18 missiles towards Ukraine from Tu-95MS and Tu-160 strategic bombers on the night of May 1st. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
According to him, at around 2:30 a.m., the enemy attacked Ukraine with missiles from strategic aviation — nine Tu-95s from the area of Olenegorsk, Murmansk region, and two Tu-160s from the Caspian Sea region.
They launched 18 air-launched cruise missiles X-101/X-555.
Air defense warriors destroyed 15 targets.
Earlier, the military administration of Kyiv reported that all missiles and drones of the occupiers were shot down in the area of the capital.
