Certain Ukrainian pilots are already eligible to begin flight training on the F-16 in Denmark, and there are also agreements in place for initiating logistics work related to Western fighter jets in Ukraine. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, following a conversation with the Chief of Defence Staff of Denmark, General Flemming Lentfer.
“The focus is on the training of Ukrainian pilots and engineers on the F-16, which is currently taking place in Denmark. General Lentfer announced that a portion of our pilots has already successfully completed preparatory activities and is ready to begin flight training,” the statement reads.
Zaluzhny also informed about an agreement with Danish partners to initiate work on logistics for the servicing and repair of F-16s in Ukraine.
