Robert Storch, the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Defense, will lead the team responsible for scrutinizing how Ukraine uses U.S. military assistance. This was announced by the Office of the Inspector General.

Storch will assume his new role on October 18th.

It is reported that he will be responsible for monitoring the use of aid provided to Ukraine and other countries since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, totaling approximately $113 billion. The American inspector will collaborate with the U.S. State Department and USAID observers.

He will be required to publish quarterly reports for Congress, which will be made publicly available.
