Scholz promised to deliver ammunition for the Gepard self-propelled artillery units to Ukraine in August
Ukraine will receive ammunition for the Gepard self-propelled artillery systems from Germany only in August. Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, during a rally on the occasion of Labor Day in Koblenz, said that Ukraine can expect ammunition for the German self-propelled artillery units in August.
According to him, currently in Germany they are adjusting their production, which will take some time. He also stated that Ukraine should not shell the territory of Russia with weapons supplied by Germany. Scholz considers it necessary to prevent a war between Russia and NATO.
