The Security Service of Ukraine has started an investigation into the murder of a Ukrainian soldier by Russian aggressors. The pre-trial investigation was reported on the website of the security service on Wednesday, April 12th.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has reminded that a video surfaced yesterday showing Russians revealing their savage nature – cruelly torturing a Ukrainian prisoner of war and decapitating him.
A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of this incident under the article on cruel treatment of prisoners of war or civilians, other violations of the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
This carries a punishment of 10 to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment. ‘We will find these beasts. If necessary, we will reach them wherever they may be: from under the ground or from the afterlife. But they will definitely be punished for what they have done,’ assured the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk.
