Malyar’s direct speech: “In Bakhmut and the surrounding areas, everything is difficult now. Very difficult. Contrary to everything, our troops managed to advance for several days. It’s all thanks to the exceptional capabilities and professionalism of our military. The Russians haven’t changed their goal. They are moving their airborne assault units closer to the outskirts of Bakhmut. Heavy fighting is ongoing. The defense of Bakhmut continues.
Syrsky’s direct speech: “Movement of our troops on the Bahmut direction is the first success of the offensive operations during the defense operation of Bahmut.
The past few days have shown that we can move forward and destroy the enemy even in such extremely challenging conditions.
“We are fighting with fewer resources than the enemy. However, we manage to disrupt their plans, thanks to our fighters who are battling the aggressor, pushing the limits of human capabilities.
Nevertheless, this is only a partial success, and that’s how it should be perceived. The operation to defend Bahmut is ongoing, and all necessary decisions for the defense have been made.
We have worked out all possible scenarios with the commanders on the front lines.”
