Minister of Defense Oleksiy Roznikov stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet delivered the main strike in the offensive. He announced this in an interview with Fox News channel.
According to him, currently, the Defense Forces are conducting preparatory operations as the Russians have built strong defensive lines.
When asked if the initial attacks by the Armed Forces on the south were the main strike, the Minister responded, “No, no, no.”
Reznikov stated that the main strike will be successful and bring Ukraine closer to victory in the war, but the command is focused on preserving personnel.
“We are trying to save their lives. And Russia’s approach to using their forces is like a meat grinder,” he said.
The head of the department also praised the infantry fighting vehicles and Leopard tanks, emphasizing that they are liked by Ukrainian soldiers and maneuver “very gracefully.”
