The negotiations lasted throughout the day, resulting in agreements on the inadmissibility of engaging in a bloody conflict on Russian territory. It is noted that ‘an absolutely beneficial and acceptable solution to the situation, with guarantees of safety for the Wagner PMC fighters, is on the table.’
Prigozhin agreed to halt the movement of troops towards Moscow
Prigozhin stated that his fighters are turning around the columns and returning to field camps.
“In less than 200 km away from Moscow, we have covered that distance in a day. Now is the moment when bloodshed is possible. Understanding the full responsibility for the potential shedding of Russian blood, we are turning our columns around and heading to the field camps according to the plan,” stated Prigozhin.
