The U.S. Department of Defense stated that Wagner Group terrorists are still present in Ukraine following the downfall of their leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin. Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Pete Rader reported this, citing CNN.
According to him, after the ‘uprising’ over the weekend, Wagner fighters are still present on Ukrainian territory.
“But in terms of their specific nature and whether they can move or not, I’m not going to speculate on that,” said Rader.
He noted that the United States had not altered the positioning of its armed forces due to events in Russia.
“We have not seen anything that, in our view, would require any coercive adjustments from us,” summarized the Pentagon spokesperson.
