All detected aerial targets moving towards Kyiv during the nighttime attack from the terrorist country of Russia have been destroyed by the Anti-Air Defense Forces. Preliminarily, there was a massive attack with Shahed-type drones. This information was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
After the longest pause in May, lasting four days, the Russians once again launched an aerial attack on Kyiv. This marks the 12th assault on the capital this month.
During the alarm, which lasted over three hours, the enemy reportedly employed barraging projectiles of the Shahed type. The attack was massive.
The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that the enemy continues to employ a tactic of wave attacks, with intervals between groups of attacking drones. The occupants are trying to achieve their objectives, including exhaust down the Ukrainian air defense.
“The Ukrainian angels of the sky didn’t give the aggressor any chances. All identified aerial targets moving towards Kyiv were destroyed by the forces and means of our air defense. No strikes on Kyiv were allowed!” – the statement reads.
On the night of May 25, Russia launched kamikaze drones against Ukraine, with air defense operating in Kyiv Oblast, after which the alert shifted to western Ukraine. In the middle of the night, the occupants launched rocket strikes on Kharkiv or its suburbs.
