In the occupied Crimea, anti-Russian sentiments are rapidly growing

On the territory of Crimea, which is occupied by Russia, dissatisfaction with the actions of the occupiers among local residents is rapidly increasing, and trust in the actions of the occupying Russian authorities is declining.

What is known about the situation in Crimea?

According to representatives of the Center for National Resistance, there is a rapid decrease in the level of support for the representatives of the occupying authorities among local residents in the Russia-controlled territory of Crimea.

It is also noted that there is a sharp increase in anti-Russian sentiments.

Representatives of the Center for National Resistance mention that the so-called head of the occupation administration of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, has caused dissatisfaction from the Kremlin dictator and war criminal Vladimir Putin due to the Moscow-unfriendly results of the Kremlin-ordered social survey regarding the level of support from the local population.

At the same time, the so-called head of the occupation administration in Crimea sent his own ‘analytical’ report to Moscow on the reasons for the growth of anti-Russian sentiments.

What do the occupiers themselves say?

According to the leader of the Russian occupation authorities in Crimea, the reason for this situation on the peninsula is the worsening economic conditions.

In particular, sanctions imposed by the West have led to higher prices for medicines in pharmacies and essential goods.

However, the key issue is the redirection of resources on the peninsula to meet the military needs of the Russian Armed Forces. For example, the shortage of certain types of medicines is related to the fact that medical supplies are primarily provided to wounded Russians in hospitals, according to analysts from the Center for National Resistance.
Furthermore, Crimea is experiencing a significant labor shortage due to the mobilization of the male population. For instance, in the agricultural sector, there is a labor shortage of 77%.

It is also noted that recently, the ‘Minister of Energy and Fuel’ of Crimea, Igor Korin, resigned. Aksyonov held him responsible for the rise in fuel prices, which subsequently affected prices of essential goods.
