Ukraine and India agree on cooperation documents in four areas: what are they about?

On the morning of 23 August, Modi arrived in Kyiv. This is the first visit to Ukraine by an Indian prime minister in the history of bilateral relations.

Ukraine and India have agreed on four documents on cooperation in the medical, agricultural, humanitarian, and cultural spheres. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Today we have agreed on four documents with India. These are cooperation in the medical sphere, agriculture, humanitarian and cultural spheres. A joint statement has been prepared on the content of the visit of the Indian Prime Minister on the development of strategic partnership between our countries, trade between our states and military cooperation,’ the President said.

Indian Prime Minister Modi and Zelenskyy laid toys at the Children’s multimedia martyrology site in Kyiv and observed a minute of silence in memory of Ukrainian children killed by Russian aggression.
