Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas believes that fear is preventing the free world from providing sufficient support to Ukraine. She expressed this view at the Lennart Meri Conference, as cited by ERR.
“Fear is holding us back in supporting Ukraine. Different countries have different fears, be it nuclear fear, fear of escalation, or fear of migration. We must not fall into the trap of fear,” said Kallas.
The Estonian Prime Minister noted that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants this. He wants the world to be afraid and not support Ukraine.
“We will act decisively and not allow our adversaries to dictate our future,” she emphasized, stating that Ukraine should be supported for as long as necessary.
Kallas pointed out that the world must help Kyiv push Russia back to its borders and continue to apply sanctions until Ukraine’s territorial integrity is restored.
“The aggressor must compensate for the damage caused, and those responsible, including the Russian leadership, must be held accountable,” she declare
