The President emphasized that Ukraine, together with its allies, is working to ensure that the June peace summit in Switzerland is ‘truly global.’
President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that in the summer of 2024, the ‘path to a fair peace’ may begin. He stated this in an evening video address.
‘We continue to prepare for the June inaugural peace summit, and our team, together with key partner teams, is currently working to ensure that the summit becomes truly global […] It is in June that the path to a fair peace may begin,’ said the head of state.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine, together with its allies, is working to ensure that the summit ‘truly becomes global.’
‘We can say for sure: all continents will be represented — different parts of the world, different views on global development,’ the president explained.
According to him, all countries that have agreed to participate are united by the equal recognition that the UN Charter and basic international conventions are mandatory documents for every state in the world, including Russia.
