In an interview with the German Welt, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba stated that Ukraine is expanding its own production of all types of armaments and militarizing the economy in order to depend as little as possible on the support of Western allies, particularly the Americans.
According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukraine cannot afford to rely solely on U.S. support. Regarding the presidential elections in the country, Kuleba said, ‘We’ll have to wait and see.’
‘But we are preparing because we cannot allow ourselves to depend exclusively on American support. Therefore, we are currently investing vast amounts in our own production of all types of armaments, significantly increasing production volumes, and militarizing our economy,’ he said.
