Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who regularly makes senseless statements about the Russo-Ukrainian war and threatens with nuclear weapons, claimed that there will supposedly be “new” regions added to the Russian Federation.
Presidential Office Advisor Mykhailo Podoliak, on the other hand, assured that all Ukrainian territories will be de-occupied, and similar figures from the Russian Federation will write prison memoirs in the future.
Medvedev decided to ‘congratulate’ Russians on the so-called ‘Day of Reunification of New Regions with Russia.’ Russian dictator Vladimir Putin chose to establish such a ‘holiday’ on September 30th, marking the anniversary of illegal pseudo-referendums that are not recognized by anyone in the civilized world. This pertains to the ‘reunification’ with temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions. It’s worth noting that none of these regions in Russia has full control, and in the south and in the Bahmut direction, the Defense Forces continue to push out the occupiers, gradually liberating Ukrainian territories from them.”
In his post, Medvedev stated that the war by Russia against Ukraine will continue ‘until the complete destruction of the Nazi Kyiv regime’ and until the occupation of those Ukrainian lands that the Kremlin representative considers ‘historically Russian territories.’
He added that ‘there will be more new regions in Russia,’ expressing confidence in the victory for the occupiers.
Podolyak wrote: ‘Remember: there are no ‘new territories of Russia,’ ‘annexed territories,’ and there are no chances that Russia can retain control over them.'”
He emphasized that there is only the territory of Ukraine, including Crimea, where heavy fighting is taking place to destroy the Russian occupation forces and ‘the ambitions of the Russian authoritarian state.’
“Furthermore, the systematic and professional dismantling of yesterday’s Russian bravado (the reputation of a country that supposedly should be feared) after 584 days of war is too obvious to pay attention to the latest ‘threatening’ statements from Russian officials. All these Russian entities need to wait a bit to personally witness the end of the war, where they will undoubtedly face severe legal consequences and have the opportunity to write prison memoirs in the classic dull style of ‘we were misunderstood,'” Podolyak added.
