Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, advised certain Western analysts to be “cautious in their forecasts and long-term predictions” regarding the Ukrainian counteroffensive by the Armed Forces. He is quoted by the German publication Bild.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded that according to unnamed officials, generals, and analysts, Ukraine “was supposed to cease its existence within three to ten days in February 2022.
“Now they admit that Ukraine won’t be able to reclaim all its territories so quickly. This speaks to the fact that even those who had doubts are beginning to hope over time,” he said, adding that Ukraine “takes such statements calmly.”
Kuleba noted that “the Americans last encountered such a level of combat and firepower in Normandy.”
He advised certain Western analysts to be cautious in their forecasts and long-term predictions regarding the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“What we really need is more long-term potential to achieve short-term results. Never underestimate Ukraine. Be confident. Have patience. Victory is hard work,” summarized the minister.
