President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, who claimed that he would have ended the Russian war against Ukraine ‘within 24 hours.’ Zelensky shared this information in an interview with ABC News.
According to him, he welcomes the desire to end the war, but it should be based on some real experience.
“Well, it seems that those 24 hours were already available to Donald Trump at some point in his life. We were at war, not a full-scale war, but we were at war, and I suppose he had that time at his disposal, but he probably had other priorities,” said Zelensky.
He noted that if we talk about ending the war at the expense of Ukraine and forcing it to give up territories, then in that case, President Joe Biden could have ‘ended the war’ in as little as five minutes.
“But we wouldn’t agree. I appreciate those who say that you have done enough. Believe me, despite everything, I appreciate the assistance. As for the word ‘enough,’ well, we Ukrainians are not known for excessive appetites,” summarizing the head of state.
