President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the war will not end until Crimea is de-occupied. He shared this during an interview with CNN.
“We cannot imagine Ukraine without Crimea. And as long as Crimea remains under Russian occupation, it means only one thing: the war is not over,” said Zelensky.
The President announced that Ukraine’s ultimate goal is the liberation of Crimea.
The journalist asked if there is a scenario in which there can be “peace” without the liberation of Crimea.
Zelensky responded, “Then it won’t be a victory.”
