German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, ahead of the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, stated that Russia poses a threat to the entire world. He made this announcement upon arrival in Japan, as reported by Bloomberg.
According to him, Russia is a threat to the entire planet, and Hiroshima, where the G7 leaders’ meeting will take place, is a “symbol of the necessity to achieve peace.”
Commenting on the issue of relations between Western countries and China, he stated that “separation from any country is not the goal pursued by anyone here.”
“However, at the same time, we want to organize global trade relations in such a way that risks do not become greater due to dependence on one country,” stated Scholz.
Earlier it became known that Germany will provide Ukraine with a new package of military assistance worth 2.7 billion euros. This will be the largest supply since the start of the major war.
