Budanov reveals the future of Russian war criminals
Major General Kirill Budanov stated that all the guilty parties will be held accountable. He explained whom he had in mind: Russians who are military criminals, those who have committed crimes against humanity, war crimes, and absolutely heinous crimes such as group rapes, rapes of minors, and explicit gruesome murders,” he said.
Budanov added that among Russians, there are also those who, out of patriotic considerations, cooperate with Ukrainian intelligence. He emphasized that the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) is ready to work with those who have repented and are willing to bring about changes in Russia, withdraw troops from Ukraine, and participate in the reconstruction and apologies to the Ukrainian people.
“Blatant scoundrels, in the end, will face rightful punishment in any country in the world. The only deserving punishment for such actions could be their elimination. I don’t consider anything else. This is my personal opinion, I adhere to it, and I will implement it in life,” Budanov concluded.
Budanov commented on high-profile killings in Russia
Earlier, in an interview with YahooNews, Budanov said, ‘We killed Russians, and we will continue to kill Russians.’ He was asked whether the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) could be involved in a series of killings and attacks on the territory of Russia and occupied Crimea.
However, Budanov refused to comment on these attacks. “Please do not continue this topic. The only thing I will comment on is that we have killed Russians, and we will continue to kill Russians anywhere in this world until Ukraine achieves complete victory,” he said.
