All terrorists from the Wagner group have been withdrawn to Bahmut from all fronts, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not lost any positions in a day. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar.
According to her words, the Russians are advancing on five fronts simultaneously in Donbas – near Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, Kremenna, and Vuhledar, with ongoing battles.
She pointed out that the enemy’s main efforts are concentrated in the area of Bakhmut, where Wagner’s terrorists have been redeployed from other directions to carry out combat missions.
In these directions, they were replaced by regular units of the Russian Armed Forces.
Malayar stated that the Defense Forces hold Bachmut and the outskirts of the city, and no positions in the city have been lost in the past day.
Earlier, the Commander of the Ground Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported a successful counterattack by the Defense Forces in the area of Bakhmut, which forced the Russians to retreat.
On May 10, 2023, the founder of the Azov Movement, Biletsky, announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had crushed units of the 72nd Brigade of the occupiers and Wagner’s assault troops near Bakhmut.
