Russian occupiers are evicting Ukrainians from their homes who have refused to obtain Russian passports. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning summary on May 6.
As noted, in the city of Starobilsk, Ukrainian citizens who refused to receive a Russian passport are being forcibly evicted from their own homes by the occupiers.
“Usually, the occupiers come to the apartment no more than twice. The third time, people and their belongings are forcibly thrown out onto the street,” the message says.
At the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they added that even the fact that minors may reside in a house does not deter the occupiers.
After eviction, such citizens are sent to filtration points, and their housing is handed over to soldiers of the Russian occupation army for resettlement,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
